Dean believes that God has been extremely gracious and good to him in all areas of his life. After serving in the church in several different areas over the years, he was called to become a full-time staff member in Sept of 2007. Alisha Henricksen serves as the Early Childhood Director for Jubilee Bible Church. She has a Bachelors in Bible and Children’s Ministry from Moody Bible Institute. She loves watching movies, drinking coffee, eating donuts and spending quality time with friends and family. She is passionate about helping the next generation know and love the Lord and be radically changed by Him.
While she accepted Christ as her Savior when she was young after hearing the gospel during a Sunday School class, her life was changed after she visited a prison her junior year of high school. It was then that she realized just how much of a sinner she was and how much grace she desperately needed from the Lord.
Laura Williams serves as the Office Manager for Jubilee Bible Church. Her husband is Brian Williams and they have three daughters, Paris, Kori and Whitney and a son-in-law Josh, and twin grandchildren, Maximus & Riley.
Laura and her family moved from North Carolina to the suburbs of Chicago in 2011. Laura grew up in Ohio and attended a Catholic school. She knew about God and had read the Bible, but it wasn’t until 2004 that she accepted Christ as her savior and was baptized. She learned more about God's Word through others at church, Bible studies, attending BSF and serving in the Awana program.
Laura loves baking and attempting to be crafty. Her lifelong dream has been to manage a bed and breakfast. After going back to school at College of DuPage for her Culinary Arts Certificate she works part-time at Medinah Country Club as the Pastry Chef assistant. She and Brian love Chicago and all the food it has to offer. They miss Grandma’s Sunday lunch in the south, so they are always looking to share a meal after church.
Marianne Smith serves as the Finance Manager for Jubilee Bible Church. She has been on staff since 2008. Her husband is Mark Smith, and their children are Joshua, Ryan and Tyler.
While in high school, Marianne remembers going to bed at night repeating the words “I believe, I believe”. She wanted to make sure she was going to heaven based on John 3:16 – the one verse that she could remember from church. During her Junior year in high school, she was invited to a youth group outing by a friend from school. It was there that she heard the message of salvation as she had never heard before. That night Marianne accepted Christ’s gift of salvation and the promise of eternity with Him. 1 John 5:13 states: “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” She then knew that she had eternal life. Since then it has been a joy for Marianne to be walking with God through life – ups and downs – He has blessed her beyond measure.
Marianne has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Lewis University.
Raymundo Juarez serves as Custodian of Jubilee Bible Church. He has worked in our church for over five years, treating it as if it was his own home. He is meticulous with the appearance of our facility, inside and out, as well as constantly looking for ways to reduce expenses and be more efficient. When you call for a special setup at the church, he is the manpower that sets everything up, cleans and then tears everything back down and cleans again. So when you attend an event at our church, think of Raymundo and all that he does to ensure our church is spotless.
He has lived in Carol Stream for over twenty years with his wife, Sofia, and his two boys, Omar and Osiel. He can be found on the weekends selling various items at flea markets in our area.
